Responsibilities

• De-contamination, processing, assembling and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Disinfection and restocking of Isolation, Emergency Carts and other patient care equipment.
• Follow infection control, JCAHO, OSHA and AAMI guidelines to assure sterility.
• Provide leadership and expertise in the absence of Management.
• Communicate efficiently with staff.
• Reports to Sterile Processing Manager.
