Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Central Supply Instrument Technician to care for surgical instruments and sterile supplies under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and/or Clinical Nurse Manager.

The role emphasizes cleaning, organizing, and wrapping instruments according to sterilization and disinfection standards, with strict adherence to safety and hospital policies. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, and certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for instruments and supplies by cleaning, organizing, and wrapping them in approved manner conducive to sterilization and disinfection techniques.
• Work under supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and/or Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and sterilization standards.
