Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases. The role requires familiarity with medical terminology, sterilization equipment, and good teamwork.

The ideal candidate should have a Sterile Process Certification and 1–2 years of experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to urgent patient needs. This is a on-site position within a hospital/center setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program is required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification is preferred.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience is required.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
• Vpro and Medivator experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be an excellent team player and communicate with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities
