Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to perform cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and assembly of surgical instruments for Perioperative Services at the Main Hospital.

Requirements include CRCST or CSPDT certification, 2 years sterile processing experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to work 100% on-site, Monday to Friday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Salary range listed below with benefits typical for UC Davis Health.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in a patient care environment.
• CRCST from HSPA or CSPDT from CBSPD.
• Two (2) years sterile processing technician experience supporting complex surgical and clinical services in a similar setting; or combination of certification and experience.
• Experience handling hospital equipment.
• Must maintain certification by CEUs and renewals.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
