Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech in the Louisville, KY / Southern Indiana region. This full-time role covers Saturday, Sunday and two weekdays, 9a-7:30p, in the Sterile Processing Department.

The position focuses on cleaning, preparing and sterilizing reusable supplies and supporting the department's operations. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and ideally one year of sterile processing or surgical scrub experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year sterile processing experience or one-year surgical scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and sterilizes patient care reusable supplies.
• Dispenses reusable and disposable patient care supplies.
• Maintains sterilizer logs and daily testing of sterilizer equipment.
• Reports equipment breakdowns.
