Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN seeks a Sterile Processing Tech for full-time weekend and weekday shifts (approx 9a–7:30p). The role cleans, prepares and sterilizes patient care supplies, maintains sterilizer logs, and reports equipment issues in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year sterile processing experience or one-year surgical scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and sterilizes patient care reusable supplies.
• Dispenses reusable and disposable patient care supplies.
• Maintains sterilizer logs and daily testing of sterilizer equipment and reports equipment breakdowns.
