The role collaborates with OR, cath lab, and labor/delivery to ensure instrumentation readiness, maintain inventory, and support clinical excellence within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Decontamination of instruments, equipment and patient reusable supplies.
• Sterilization of instruments and patient reusable supplies.
• Basic inventory management and reporting of discrepancies.
• Desire to collaborate with OR and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate instruments and patient reusable supplies.
• Prepare instrumentation for procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and supplies for reuse.
• Assist with maintaining departmental inventory.
• Report malfunctions and discrepancies to supervisor.
• Manage difficult customer situations with professionalism.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and requests.
