UofL Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for weekend days at University Hospital - UMC in Louisville, KY. You will support OR staff by delivering sterile instruments and maintaining the integrity of packaging and sterilization processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Nationally recognized certification in Sterile Processing required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist OR staff by delivering sterile instrumentation promptly.
• Perform decontamination, prep and pack, sterilization, and dispatch tasks.
• Inspect, assemble, and package decontaminated instruments for use.
• Operate SPD equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
