Job summary

Qualifications

• Central Service Technician certification must be achieved within one year of hire.
• Vocational Central Service program completed is preferred.
• One year of instrumentation experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging and sterilization of instruments.
• Support sterile processing and storage for surgical procedures.
• Assist the OR team and central service staff to meet demand.
• Maintain inventory and meet needs of the surgical team.
• Adhere to manufacturer guidelines for re-processing of equipment.
