Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of instrumentation experience or successful completion of a Central Service vocational program.
• Central Service Technician certification required within one year of hire.
• Vocational program in Central Service preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable instruments and equipment for surgical and other procedures.
• Cleaning, packaging and re-processing of re-usable surgical equipment and scopes.
• Maintain inventory and storage of processed supplies.
• Support the sterile core and meet the needs of the surgical team.
