Lee's Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for surgery. You will work under the OR Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse to support safe, efficient operating room services.

Experience or training in sterile processing is preferred; the hospital offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a large healthcare system.

Competenze

• Strong preference for those who completed a sterile processing program or certification.
• Two (2) years of hands-on sterile processing experience.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and all aspects of sterilization processes.
• Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization equipment functions.
• Ability to exchange information in a factual, objective manner.
• Willingness to take direction from multiple sources.
• Ability to be flexible with regard to task priorities and time schedules.

Mansioni

• Under the supervision of the OR Nurse Manager and guidance of the Charge Nurse for surgery systems, performs instrument decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization.
• Ensures safety, accuracy, and readiness of instruments for surgical cases.
