Summit Surgical, LLC is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure safe, efficient operating room readiness and instrument handling. You will prepare rooms, sterilize equipment, and supply the surgical team with instruments while maintaining sterile technique and infection control standards.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting. BLS is a plus, and prior OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating with surgical staff.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Assist in positioning patients and providing physical and emotional support during surgery.
• Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
• Hand instruments to the surgical team while maintaining a sterile field.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow.
