Lee's Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for surgery. You will work under the OR Nurse Manager and Charge Nurse to support safe, efficient operating room services.

Experience or training in sterile processing is preferred; the hospital offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a large healthcare system.

Qualifikationen

• Strong preference for those who completed a sterile processing program or certification.
• Two (2) years of hands-on sterile processing experience.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and all aspects of sterilization processes.
• Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization equipment functions.
• Ability to exchange information in a factual, objective manner.
• Willingness to take direction from multiple sources.
• Ability to be flexible with regard to task priorities and time schedules.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. What You Will Do in This Role:

Under the supervision of the OR Nurse Manager and the guidance and direction of the Charge Nurse for surgery systems, the Instrument Room Technician performs critical functions associated with instrument decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Strong preference will be given to those who have completed a sterile processing program and /or have obtained certification.
• Two (2) years of hands one sterile processing.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and all aspects of sterilization processes
• Knowledge of the functions of decontamination and sterilization equipment
• Ability to exchange information in a factual, objective manner
• Willingness to take direction from multiple sources
• Able to be flexiblewith regard totask priorities and time schedules
