Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of medical equipment and supplies.
• Experience in Sterile Processing/Decontamination or healthcare.
• 400 hours or more experience in instrument handling, assembly, decontamination, and sterilization.
• Willing to obtain CRCST certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain supply locations; apply FIFO stock rotation to all areas.
• Set up and distribute surgical cases per established preference lists.
• Monitor stock levels; advise PAR levels and perform cart counts.
• Maintain and inventory reusable patient equipment through MMIS.
• Operate decontamination equipment and ensure proper cleaning methods.
• Verify instrument counts and document discrepancies on tray forms.
• Maintain PPE use and uphold environmental safety standards.
• Inspect processed items for completeness and packaging integrity.
