Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher education.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
• Basic working knowledge of computers and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and inspects surgical instruments.
• Cleans and decontaminates reusable patient equipment.
• Loads sterilizer and records cycle data.
• Transports instruments and supplies between departments.
• Performs housekeeping and maintains sterile areas.
