Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Technician, Central Service to provide sterile instrumentation and trays to the Department of Surgery and other hospital departments. The Technician works under the Sr. Technician for Central Services or Operating Room Management.

The role involves comprehensive decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization processes, and daily equipment maintenance to ensure safe patient care. A strong adherence to safety protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and inspects surgical instruments, wearing PPE and following standard precautions.
• Transports equipment and supplies between departments as needed.
• Maintains equipment per manufacturers' instructions and checks detergents per shift.
• Assembles instrument trays and ensures sterilization readiness, including wrapping and labeling.
