Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Sterile Processing Technician in Skokie, IL, to join the Sterile Processing Department. This role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with 40 hours per week and shifts from 8:00am to 4:30pm, including rotating weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school equivalent, and CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification is strongly preferred. Two years of sterile processing or OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Equivalent required.
• Certification: CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup with quality patient care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution and label by department.
