Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the night shift. You will sterilize and assemble instrument trays, ensure a clean work area, and follow established protocols to support patient care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred, and CPR certification is desirable. Full-time hours with competitive hourly pay and benefits from day one are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• Experience with sterilization processes advantageous.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification preferred.
• Ability to follow established protocols and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Sterilize instruments following established protocols.
• Participate in in-service education programs and training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assemble instrument trays accurately.
• Document procedures and maintain thorough records.
