Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Basic Computer Skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Works under indirect supervision to support Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
• Follows preference sheet to dispense instruments and supplies to surgery and patient care areas.
• Performs safety, infection control and policy adherence daily.
• Uses Tray Tracking system in assigned areas.
• Reports damaged or missing items to supervisor.
• Maintains logs and records test results for sterilization processes.
• Prepares and labels items for sterilization methods.
• Rotates through work areas to cover service needs.
