Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ Sterile Processing experience
• CRCST certification required
• CSPDT certification preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• Proficient with sterilization equipment and processes
• Knowledge of infection control practices

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory
• Operate sterilization equipment and inspect instruments for cleanliness
• Perform decontamination of soiled instruments and equipment
• Correct instrument sets per standards and tracking systems
• Maintain inventory levels for case carts and supplies
• Conduct quality assurance audits on peers
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure timely availability of sterilized tools
• Monitor and document sterilization processes for safety compliance
• Troubleshoot sterilization equipment and processes
• Train new staff on sterilization procedures and protocols
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of biohazardous materials
