Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician non-Certified to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized and ready for use, supporting safe, high-quality surgical care across our hospital system. This role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has CPD experience preferred and at least one year in an OR setting, with Basic Life Support completed within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Prior CPD experience preferred.
• One year in OR setting preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and organize time to complete work within the shift.
• Manages supplies and equipment effectively.
• Demonstrates knowledge of sterile technique.
• Assists in the development of CPD policies and procedures.
• Follows hospital policies and procedures and competency requirements.
• Supports orientation of new staff and ongoing training.
