Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for surgeries. The role supports patient safety by maintaining sterile supply chains and accurate records within a busy hospital environment.

The ideal candidate holds CSPDT or CRCST certification within 12 months, with at least 2 years of Central Sterile Processing experience, and previous hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification within 12 months of employment start date (CSPDT or CRCST).
• 2 years of experience required in Central Sterile Processing.
• Previous experience as a Central Sterile Processing Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays to ensure sterility and readiness for use.
• Manage sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records supporting patient safety and infection prevention.
• Prepare customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and procedure needs.
• Manage inventory and supplies in OR storage, collaborating with the surgical team to meet needs and keep operations running smoothly.
• Respond quickly to instrument requests during surgeries and assist with urgent equipment needs.
