Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to maintain and care for surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases. The role requires completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program and 1–2 years of experience, with CRCST/CSPDT certifications preferred.

The candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs, work well in a team, and communicate with staff, patients, and physicians. Vpro and Medivator experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed

Responsibilities

• The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Vpro And Medivator Experience Preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
