HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for procedures. You will work closely with nurses and surgeons to support safe, efficient surgeries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards.
• Monitor sterilization cycles, document results, and resolve issues to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Prepare and organize instrument trays and surgical rooms based on daily schedule.
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials and keep the work area clean.
• Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support efficient surgeries.
