Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two (2) years surgical instrument experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers case carts using aseptic technique.
• Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other devices.
• Assemble, package and label clinics surgical services and all hospital instrumentation for sterilization.
• Answer phones, fill orders, issue and stock supplies.
• Utilize high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes.
