Qualifications

• Experience as instrument technician or in sterile processing preferred.

• Ability to read safety and procedure manuals and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Care and preparation of surgical instruments according to AAMI standards.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies for the area.
• Test sterilizers daily and keep sterilization records.
• Ensure aseptic techniques are used per standards.
• Assist in cleaning and turnover of OR rooms between cases.
