DMC Receiving Hospital in Detroit is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our patient‑focused team. Under general supervision, you will decontaminate, sort, inspect, test, assemble and sterilize standard and specialty instruments, equipment and trays used across our hospital.

You will assemble case carts and crash carts, restock supplies, and communicate shortages to the appropriate staff. The position is full‑time nights, with a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in a

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Central Services Processing program, or six months of equivalent experience.
• Certification through CBSPD or IAHCSMM within 12 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Decontaminate, sort, inspect, test, assemble and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Assemble case carts, crash carts and emergency carts per pick lists.
• Restock unused or returned supplies and notify staff of shortages.
