Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Central Processing Tech I in Royal Oak, MI. You will be responsible for inspections, disinfection, assembly, and distribution of patient care instruments, ensuring all equipment meets industry standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and certifications in sterile processing, completing CPD requirements within one year. This role ensures the provision of sterile instruments to support surgical services and involves working a night shift from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete the sterile processing program successfully.
• Obtain CSPDT and CRCST certifications within a year.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disinfect, assemble, and distribute patient care instruments.
• Ensure thorough tests and proper cleaning of instruments.
