Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated Instrument Reprocessing Technician to support sterile processing operations in Illinois. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires adherence to IFU guidelines, use of tracking systems, and collaboration with clinical teams to deliver sterile supplies to patients and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Follows department procedures and manufacturer’s instructions to perform decontamination and sterilization with accuracy.
• Operates washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilizers; inspects instruments for damage and function.
• Assembles instrument sets and prepares for sterilization and packaging.
• Assists with stocking and inventory of surgical supplies and case carts.
