Mercy is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician to contribute in Decontamination, Processing and Sterilization workflows. You will clean instruments, inspect, test, assemble, and prepare them for high level disinfection or sterilization while following standard procedures and hospital policies.

The role includes maintaining logs and prioritizing instrument processing to support patient care. You will also handle telephone dispatch duties and collaborate with staff across departments,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and PPE use required.

Responsabilités

• Decontamination, processing and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Maintain documentation in logs or computer systems.
• Prioritize instruments for processing and dispatch equipment and supplies.
• Answer telephones and support Sterile Processing operations.
