Job summary

You will manage instrument tracking and ensure readiness for procedures while complying with safety standards. The ideal candidate has CRCST or CSPDT certification and at least 1 year of SPD experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CRCST/CSPDT certification or becoming certified within one year of hire.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate clearly with team and OR staff.
• Preferred CSPDT/CRCST certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and sterile processing for PeriOp Services and hospital departments.
• Assemble, sterilize, package, and QA instruments; maintain sterilization logs.
• Identify schedule needs and communicate with OR to minimize delays; prioritize instrumentation requests.
• Track instrument sets and report equipment shortages to maintain readiness.
