Newton-Wellesley Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to ensure instruments are decontaminated, sterilized, and ready for use. You will collaborate with OR and other departments to uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years sterile processing experience preferred.
• Completion of Central Processing Technology course required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, assemble, and sterilize instruments per IAHCSMM/CBSPD standards.
• Inventory and restock sterile supplies across departments.
• Operate sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Use computer systems for instrument tracking and case picking.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff.
• Rotate between SPD, GI, and OSC departments.
