Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Instrument Technician II in Sterile Processing to follow established procedures in Decontamination, Processing, and Sterilization. You will clean, inspect, assemble and test instruments, while maintaining documentation and ensuring readiness for High Level Disinfection.

Eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus with CRCST certification; role requires at least 6 months in sterile processing or 400 hours hands-on experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Sterile Processing or 400 hours hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, Processing and Sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Accurate documentation of processes in logs or computer systems.
• Prioritize instrumentation for processing and manage dispatch of instruments and supplies.

Education

CRCST or CSPDT certification

High School diploma or GED

6 months Sterile Processing experience
