Job summary

Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, KY seeks a Part-Time Central Sterile Processing Technician for the 1st shift to support Surgical Services. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, store, and distribute reusable instruments per TJC, CMS, AAMI, CDC, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in sterile processing or OR support preferred.
• Knowledge of AAMI standards and infection prevention.
• Familiarity with sterilization methods and equipment.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, store, and distribute reusable medical devices and instruments.
• Maintain documentation of processing cycles, BI/CIs, and load records.
• Ensure safe handling and PPE use per OSHA guidelines.
• Identify and report infection control or processing issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and comply with CMS/TJC standards.
