Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Central Sterile Tech to decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies used across the hospital and clinics. You will support projects that improve performance and patient safety while floating between UCI Health locations as needed.

This role requires completing an accredited Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology program, or at least 18 months of Sterile Processing experience, and the ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited school of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology.
• Or 18 months relevant Sterile Processing experience.
• Must float between UCI Health locations as needed.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies and equipment.
• Participate in department and center-wide performance improvement projects as requested.
• Float between UCI Health locations as needed to cover shortages or special projects.
