Job summary

Rosaires Care is seeking a QA Tech in Sterile Processing to ensure safe, sterile instruments for pediatric surgical teams. You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize trays using autoclaves and low-temperature systems.

Responsibilities include following regulatory standards, monitoring indicators, maintaining process documentation, and supporting inventory and case carts for procedures. Collaboration with OR staff is essential in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays using autoclaves and low-temperature sterilization systems.
• Follow AAMI, AORN, and Joint Commission standards and departmental procedures to maintain sterility.
• Monitor biological and chemical indicators and take appropriate actions when results require review.
• Maintain accurate documentation for sterilization processes and instrument tracking.
• Manage inventory and support case carts to ensure correct supplies are available for procedures.
• Collaborate with OR and nursing staff to support high-demand surgical operations.
