Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to support patient care by ensuring sterile instruments are ready for procedures. You will process and sterilize instruments, assemble trays, and maintain inventory, enabling surgical teams to operate safely and efficiently.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to sterilization protocols to uphold top safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Formación

• Required: High School Graduate or GED.
• Preferred: Completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two (2) years surgical instrument experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and delivers case carts. Utilizes aseptic technique when handling and distributing sterile instruments and supplies
• Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other medical devices
• Ability to assemble, package and label, clinics surgical services and all other hospital instrumentation for various methods of sterilization
• Answers telephone, fills orders, issues and stocks supplies
• Utilizes various methods of high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes
