Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification in Sterile Processing within 12 months of hire.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred; sterile processing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in decontamination, prep, pack, sterilization and dispatch of instrumentation.
• Deliver sterile and non-sterile items to the OR and other departments.
• Operate SPD processing equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
• Maintain department safety, HIPAA compliance and cleanliness.
