Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of healthcare experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Nationally recognized Sterile Processing certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in decontamination, prep/pack, sterilization, and dispatch of instruments.
• Deliver case carts and supplies to Surgery and other departments.
• Inspect, assemble, and package decontaminated instruments for storage and use.
• Operate SPD processing equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
• Maintain department organization, safety, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
