Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 2 years of sterile processing experience or completion of an approved course.
• Preferred certifications (CRCST, CSPDT, CFER) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and specialized instrument care duties.
• Provides supplies for surgical procedures.
• Disassembles and cleans critical reusable medical equipment per MIFUs.
• Inspects, packages, and reassembles surgical instruments and trays.
• Performs sterilization techniques (High Level Disinfection, Pre-Vacuum, Gravity Displacement, Hydrogen Peroxide Plasma).
• Maintains records per SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Adapts to patient population and communicates with staff.
• Performs other related duties as required.
