Job summary

Required is a high school diploma; 2 years sterile processing experience preferred or completion of a recognized course. Certifications such as CRCST, CSPDT, or CFER are desirable; flexible scheduling and travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years sterile processing experience preferred or completion of an accepted course.
• Preferred certifications: CRCST, CSPDT, or CFER.

Responsibilities

• Performs general and specialized instrument care and preparation.
• Provides supplies for surgical procedures as needed.
• Disassembles and cleans critical reusable medical equipment per MIFU.
• Inspects, packages, and reassembles instruments and trays.
• Performs sterilization techniques per MIFU guidance.
• Maintains records per SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Communicates effectively with patients and staff; supports privacy and safety.
• Performs other related duties as required.
