Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional sterile processing coursework is valued.
• Preferred certifications include CRCST, CSPDT or CBSPD and related training.
• Experience with data entry and clinical record-keeping is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument care duties and prepares supplies for procedures.
• Disassembles, cleans, inspects, packages, and reassembles instruments and trays.
• Performs sterilization techniques per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintains documentation as per SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Works in a patient-care environment with flexibility for on-call needs.
