Job summary

Valley Baptist - Brownsville Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and collaboration with surgical partners to ensure accurate case carts and supplies.

Required: high school diploma or GED and completion of a Sterile Processing Technician course; within 1 year, certification with IAHCSMM or CBSPD is expected.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED and completion of a Sterile Processing Technician course.
• Preferred: 1 year of sterile processing technician experience.
• Certifications: must be certified with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 1 year; current international certification preferred.
