Job summary

Legent Health in Spring Branch, Texas, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and instruments throughout the hospital. You will ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and participate in performance improvement projects.

This position requires a HS Diploma or GED, a current sterile processing certification, and at least 2 years of experience. Competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician required.
• Current and valid sterile processing technician certification required, or equivalent experience.
• Current and active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments and medical supplies.
• Monitors wash solutions for quality in decontamination.
• Restocks and maintains inventory of instruments and supplies.
• Verifies equipment functionality and removes defective equipment.
