Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a Sterile Processing Technician course, and certification within 18 months (IAHCSMM or CBSPD).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a formal Sterile Processing Technician course.
• 1 year experience as Sterile Processing Technician or Operating Technician preferred.
• Certification with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 18 months required.
• Preferred: current certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD.
