Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to support decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments. You will work closely with surgical teams to ensure timely delivery of instrument packs and properly replenished supplies.

Required: High school diploma or GED and formal sterile processing training; certification within 18 months (IAHCSMM/CBSPD). Preferred: one year of experience and current certification.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and a formal Sterile Processing Technician course.
• One year of experience as Sterile Processing Technician or equivalent training is preferred.
• Certification with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 18 months is required.
• Preferred: current certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation and case carts.
• Delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts and related supplies.
• Paring and replenishment of materials in collaboration with surgical teams.
• Work with surgical partners to ensure traceability and accuracy of instrumentation.
