Job summary

Asante in Medford, Oregon is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Tech to join our infection control team. You will disassemble, clean, decontaminate, and reassemble instrument trays and equipment, ensuring sterile preparation and distribution for patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required
• Willingness to obtain CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Tech) by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) preferred

SalaryRange:$19.27 - $26.50

Shift Differentials:

• $1.21 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.05 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.05 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

Following infection control practices and aseptic techniques, the Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, decontaminating and reassembling all instrument trays, sets, medical surgical supplies and equipment. They also complete sterile preparation, sterilization, storage and distribution of all the aforementioned items that are required for the care of the patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position is required
