Job summary

Gulf Coast Endoscopy Center of Venice is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions, and teamwork within a state-of-the-art ambulatory center dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
  • Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
  • Experience with all types of sterilizers.
  • Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
