Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in sterile processing with CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Knowledge of AAMI and ASHCSP guidelines.
• Certification in sterile processing and distribution standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs day to day activities of Central Processing Department and coordinates activities with the Operating Room and clinics.
• Reports daily activities to direct manager.
• Performs staff-level sterilization duties and ensures decontamination and sterilization practices meet industry standards.
• Manages Central Processing supplies, instruments and equipment for inventory control and expense management.
• Ensures proper operation of all decontamination and sterilization equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
