Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Supervisor of Sterile Processing to lead the daily operations of the SPD, oversee tray assembly and case carts, and ensure infection control standards are met.

You will schedule staff, manage inventory, and maintain productivity and data accuracy while applying detailed knowledge of surgical instrumentation, decontamination, sterilization and processing to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, and/or GED equivalent programs; or a minimum of 4 years of total experience in sterile processing at HMH may be accepted.
• Two (2) years of experience in sterile processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Day to day operation of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD).
• Schedule employees and oversee tray assembly and case carts.
• Order stock and maintain productivity and infection control data.
